Can I secure my transfer to the airport for an early morning flight?

Yes, our free shuttle has departures from the hotel directly to the airport every 30 min. starting at 04:00 AM. Please book your preferred departure at the reception the night before.

How do I get to Helsinki centre?

The local bus, or taxi, from the hotel to down-town Helsinki is the most convenient, taking some 25-35 min. The bus stop is next to the hotel, and we’ll be happy to give you the timetable and instructions.

Is there an ATM, or can I exchange money at the hotel?

The closest ATMs are at the Jumbo shopping mall a 7-10 min. walk away from the hotel, or at the airport. At the hotel we exchange major currencies.

Are there any shops close to the hotel?

The large indoor shopping centre JUMBO, with over 120 specialty shops, Stockmann department store, banks, 2 supermarkets etc. is within a short walk.

My flight arrives after midnight, is it a problem?

No problem! Our reception is here to welcome you 24/7. Please make your room reservation for the previous day, with information of estimated flight arrival time. The free minibus shuttle from the airport operates every 30 min.

What does a hotel manager’s omelette contain?

All secrets can not be told. But it is good, for sure!

We are a group, can you meet us with a sign at the airport?

No, but we’ll be happy to order a group transfer and meet & greet service for you at special rate from our contract transfer company. Please contact our sales dept at sales@airporthotelshelsinki.fi for group room rates and transfer prices.

Can I stay with my pet?

Yes you can! There is a small fee of 20 EUR per stay for pets.

Is it possible to do stair training at the hotel?

Sure. We only have three floors but you can climb them multiple times. If you don’t get sweaty enough, we still have sauna for you.

Hotel location

The advantage of our hotel is its close location in relation to the airport: Pilot Airport Hotel is located very near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport at Veromäentie 1. We have 112 bright rooms just a ten-minute drive from the airport – the hotel shuttle bus will pick you up at the airport or bring you there in no time.

It is easy to reach us by car and leave it in our free parking for the duration of your stay – you can also leave your car in our parking area free of charge for up to one week if you require longer term parking.
